Our production in 2001 was"Showcase: Music is our first Love"

The show ran from Tuesday 25th to Saturday 29th September 2001 at the Church Hill Theatre, Morningside Road, Edinburgh. Performances were nightly at 7.30pm, with a matinee on Saturday at 2.30pm.

As ever, the show was an eclectic mix of song and dance from stage and screen, as well as the top forty of the last four decades.  The sections featured were:

Broadway Memories: Classics from Sondheim, Berlin, Loesser, Hammerstein & Kern, from sources as diverse as Easter Parade, Guys and Dolls and Showboat.

Motown Magic: Showcase pay tribute to the hugely successful recording artists from the Motown stable, including Diana Ross, The Four Tops, The Jackson Five and Marvin Gaye.

Eurovision: Relive the kitsch, including Brit successes Making Your Mind Up and Puppet On a String.

Frank Sinatra/Dean Martin: While tribute show "The Rat Pack" enjoyed touring success, here's Showcase's take on the signature tunes of the incomparable Sinatra and Martin.

Headliners: A pot pourri of show stoppers and chart toppers.
